A | Bollywood star Salman Khan has approached the Delhi High Court, asking for protection over the commercial use of his identity. He’s seeking legal safeguards to prevent platforms, websites and online sellers from using his name, photos, voice or any recognisable part of his persona without permission. The matter is set to be heard on December 11 before Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora, as reported by India Today. In his plea, Salman states that unauthorised use of his identity not only violates his personality rights but also misleads people by creating the impression of fake endorsements. Such misuse, he argues, lets third parties cash in on his popularity without consent, putting his reputation at risk. The case highlights how personality and publicity rights have become increasingly crucial today, especially with the rise of deepfakes, AI-generated content, impersonation scams and unapproved celebrity merchandise. These rights allow individuals to control how their image, name and voice are used and ensure they benefit from it legally and commercially. Salman’s petition adds to a recent wave of celebrities turning to the courts for similar protections. The Delhi High Court has already granted interim relief to several well-known figures including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Ajay Devgn, Karan Johar, Kumar Sanu, Nagarjuna and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, along with journalist Sudhir Chaudhary. Telugu star Jr NTR has also filed a similar plea, with the court’s order pending.ALso Read: Photos: Salman Khan SNAPPED at The Mumbai Airport。 जागरण संवाददाता, सुपौल। Voter Adhikar Yatra वोटर अधिकार यात्रा के तहत मंगलवार को कांग्रेस के पूर्व अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी और महासचिव प्रियंका गांधी वाड्रा सुपौल पहुंचीं। उनके साथ महागठबंधन घटक दलों के नेता तेजस्वी यादव, मुकेश सहनी और भाकपा माले के दीपांकर भट्टाचार्य भी मौजूद थे। हेलिकाप्टर से सुपौल पहुंचने के बाद नेताओं का काफिला निर्धारित कार्यक्रमों के अनुसार हुसुन चौक से आगे बढ़ा।,यात्रा में भारी भीड़ उमड़ पड़ी और लोग लगातार नारे लगाते रहे। समर्थक हाथ हिलाकर नेताओं का स्वागत कर रहे थे, वहीं राहुल और प्रियंका भी लोगों का अभिवादन स्वीकार करते दिखे। आइटीआइ मैदान पर हेलिकाप्टर से उतरने के बाद विशेष सुरक्षा व्यवस्था के बीच बाइपास सड़क से नेताओं को हुसुन चौक तक पहुंचाया गया। वहां से खुली गाडी में तमाम नेता वोटर अधिकार यात्रा पर निकल पड़े।,चौक पर घंटों पूर्व से कार्यकर्ता हाथों में झंडा और नारे लिखी तख्तियां लिए अपने नेता का इंतजार कर रहे थे। बीच-बीच में वोट चोर गद्दी छोड़ के नारे गूंज उठते थे। काफिला आगे बढ़ता गया और कार्यकर्ताओं की भीड़ पीछे चलती रही। सड़क किनारे जगह-जगह लोगों की भीड़ भी दिखाई पड़ी जो नेताओं को एक झलक देख लेना चाहते थे।,यात्रा हुसुन चौक से निकलकर महावीर चौक, गांधी मैदान के सामने से निकलकर लोहियानगर चौक पहुंची और डिग्री कालेज चौक पहुंचने के बाद फिर अपनी रफ्तार से आगे के लिए निकल गई। इस दौरान किसनपुर और सरायगढ़-भपटियाही में भी लोगों ने अधिकार यात्रा का भव्य स्वागत किया।。
